hi and welcome francesca!

I am Jenni. I am 34 now (almost 35-yeeks!) and got RA when I was 20.

Now, I am married with 3 children. (My adopted older 2 are 15 and 13 and I have a birth child who is 3). I have severe disease but have systemic disease so have largely avoided surgery. I have met a few younger people who have had joint replacements- they have always been great successes and always the person wishes they had it long ago!

Pleased the RA is controlled. Mine isnt Im afraid- been through a long list!

Pleased to welcome you.

Jenni xx

Dear Francesca,
Hello and welcome from me too!
I am Fiona, 53, diagnosed with R.A at 38 so it has been
15 years for me now.
I take Hydroxychloriquine for it.
Last year I had a 7 month remission, but it's back again now.
I am hoping that the warmer Spring weather will improve things
for me and others on this site who feel that the cold and damp are
not helping them at present.
Warm regards,
from FionaSmile
